The brainchild of Adam Weissman & Noah Butkus. Adam in particular, has a storied history working for a slew of other labels & companies including Nike, Levi's, Stussy, Undefeated, Union, & even Marvel before he ultimately started his own.
Real Bad Man began as a mysterious design operation to create bootleg t-shirts for obscure bands with nonexistent merch, and in time, has grown into a real deal graphic heavy clothing brand and small-run record label with a handful of critically acclaimed releases.
RBM has a tongue-in-cheek, offbeat outlook on clothing, often integrating visual elements from underground music, found graphics, cult movies, aged pop culture references & shady cartoon characters - for a satirical & subversive brand of apocalyptic counter culture psychedelia.
From their early days making bootleg merch, to their own legitimized label that samples, remixes and juxtaposes their primal passions onto fashionable, esoteric apparel, Real Bad Man is a label steeped in California cool and immediately reminiscent of streetwear’s origins and historic heyday.
