Founded by Japanese designer Masaaki Homma, Mastermind was spontaneously launched at Tokyo Fashion Week 1997. Mastermind's unique approach to high-streetwear & luxury - especially through manufacturing within Japan, created a dedicated cult following for the label.
Steeped in endless mystery - Homma has managed to create a brand identity & desirability that arguably only him & Richard Starks (founder of Chrome Hearts) have achieved.
Upon celebrating the brand's 20th anniversary in 2017, Homma creates "Mastermind World": an imprint with more of a global collaborative focus. Mastermind World serves as an organic catalyst for Homma to add his undeniably unique design language to other creations.
